All Valorant Sentinel Agents: Everything you need to know in Patch 5.90 Updates

Previously we talked about Controller Agents in Valorant. Today we are discussing Sentinel agents of Valorant. Agents are characters in Valorant that you select to play the game. Each Agent had their own abilities, which matched different player game styles. Agents are one of the most important parts of the game. 

There are 19 Valorant Agents in the game; these are divided into four types. These types are known as Controller, Sentinel, Initiator and Duelist. 

  • Sentinel     : Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Chamber
  • Controller  : Brimstone, Viper, Omen, Astra, 
  • Initiator     : Sova, Breach, Skye, KAY/O, Fade
  • Duelist      : Phoenix, Jett, Reyna, Raze, Yoru, Neon

Sentinel are defenders played at back line to help their team.

Controllers block enemy sight lines and help teams stop an enemy push or entering the site. 

Initiators get enemy intel and find enemy moments to help their team. 

Duelists are also known as attackers; they push forward in conflicts with enemy teams. 

Just as I said above, we are talking about Sentinel today. We discuss all Sentinel Agents and their abilities.

Killjoy

Killjoy is a great Sentinel agent in the game which can control a map site by itself. Her Alarm bot tells the enemy’s movements and alerts the team about the enemy’s entry into the area. Killjoy Turret is also very helpful, which keeps an eye on the wide area. Killjoy ultimate is powerful and can lock down an area and detain the players caught in a radius. Killjoy ultimately helps you to retake a site or defend a site. 

Nanoswarm | 200 Credits | 2 Charges

NanoSwarm grenade. Fire to throw the grenade. Which converts into Nanoswarm, which can damage the enemy 

Alarmbot | 200 Credits | 1 Charge

Alarm Bot helps to hunt down enemies who get in the range. After reaching its target, the bot explodes and damages the enemy.

Turret |  Free | 45s Cooldown (Destroyed) | 20s Cooldown (Recalled)

The turret can be placed to watch the enemy and fire enemies in a 180-degree cone. The turret was also replaced at another point. 

Ultimate | Lockdown | 7 Points

A lockdown device can lock down the area and detains all enemies caught in the radius. Enemies can destroy the device. 

Cypher

Cyber is a Sentinel agent used to deny pushes and collect enemies’ intel with his spycam and tripwire. However, cyber had difficulty finding his place in modern team camps. But it’s still very useful in many maps with the right hands. Cyber Cage can be used as smoke for 7 seconds. Cyber cages are also used for one-way lineups, which makes cyber very advantageous. Trapwire also gives intel but has to place the right way, not too high or low; otherwise, enemies can jump or crouch under them. 

Trapwire | 200 Credits | 2 Charges

Trapwire can place between two points at the right height. If the enemy crosses the tripwire, it will trip and reveal the enemy’s location. Cyber can pick tripwire and deploy it. 

Cyber Cage | 100 Credits | 2 Charges

A cyber cage can block vision and slow the enemies who pass through it. 

Spycam | Free | 15s Cooldown (Recalled) | 45s Cooldown (Destroyed)

Spycam is a camera view that Cyber can control. It also shoots a marking dart. Enemies can destroy it, and cyber also replace it. 

Ultimate | Neural Theft | 6 Points

Instantly use a dead enemy player and reveal the all-living enemy player’s location. 

Sage

One of the most used agents in Valorant. She is also the most helpful agent to his teammates. It can head itself or the teammates. It uses her orb to slow the enemy’s movement, and Sage also uses Barrier Orb to block the area. Sage also resurrects dead teammates by using his resurrection ultimate. 

Barrier Orb | 400 Credits | 1 Charge

Barrier Orb is a solid wall used to block the area, and Sage can rotate the wall.

Slow Orb | 200 Credits | 2 Charges

Slow Orb is used to slow due to the enemy’s movement. Sage can throw the orb, which detonates when it hits the floor. 

Healing Orb | Free | 1 Charge | 45s Cooldown

Healing Orb is used to heal itself or her teammates. Which is reusable after 45 seconds cooldown

Ultimate | Resurrection | 8 Points

Sage is the ultimate of the most useful abilities for her teammates. Which is resurrecting a dead ally. The ally will be brought back to life with total health. 

Chamber

The Chamber is stylish and firepower agents. Camber also brings his own gun. Camber had a decent security system which provided enemies intel. Camber can use rendezvous to teleport from one anchor to another. Camber is also equipped with a pistol with aim-down sights. 

Trademark | 150 Credits | 2 Charges

Camber can place trademarks on maps which provide intel when enemies come in the range. It also slows down players when it is caught inside it. 

Headhunter | 150 Credits per Bullet | 8 Max

Headhunter is a heavy pistol equipped with aim-down sights.

Rendezvous | Free | 1 Charge | 20s Cooldown

Camber also teleport abilities like an omen, but different than an omen. Camber can teleport between two anchors. It very quickly teleports the omen.

Tour de Force | 7 Points | 5 Bullets

Camber brings a powerful custom sniper rifle with five bullets. Snipers can kill players with one direct hit.
