Written by vlkey

Are you looking for which is the best weapon in Valorant games? What weapon tiers and gun damages must you come to the right place? Today’s gaming discussion will cover all Valorant weapons details and their best use scenario in different Valorant maps.

Weapons can be purchased by agents using creds during the pre-round. Every weapon has different prices for buying. Agents get free knives and classic pistols by default. Every player keeps their weapon for the next round if they do not die. Weapons can also be picked up off the ground from deceased players.

Valorant weapons Tier List

There are four weapon tiers: S-tier, A-tier, B-tier and C-tier. S-tier is high, and C-tier is for lower weapons.

Tier                                 Weapons

  • S-tier: Operator, Phantom, Vandal
  • A-tier: Classic, Judge, Marshall, Odin, Sheriff, Spectre
  • B-tier: Ares, Bulldog, Frenzy, Ghost, Guardian
  • C-tier: Bucky, Knife, Shorty, Stinger

S-tier

The most expensive and effective weapons are in S-tiers. These are the most commonly used guns as Valorant for most maps on both sides (attacker/defender).

A-tier

After S-tier, these weapons are most used in Valorant. These are the most effective weapons after the S-tier. These weapons are not the best to use in every situation and may not work too often for either attacker or the defender.

B-tier

These weapons are strong in certain conditions but also have many disadvantages due to low damage and recoil control. But best to use in half-buy rounds.

C-tier

These are low-tier weapons which are not worth picking up in many conditions. These are also close-range weapons and can be used when you hide in Conor.

Valorant Weapons Details

Operator

  • Type: Sniper Rifle
  • Creds: 4700
  • Magazine: 5
  • Wall Penetration: High

This is the most expensive weapon in the Valorant game, and it justified its price. It’s a one-shot kill weapon with the highest damage in any range. Operators are best to use for Jett and camber agent due there high-speed movement and teleport. The best map for Operators is Breeze, Icebox and Fracture due to long lines of sight.

Vandal

  • Type: Assault Rifle
  • Creds: 2,900
  • Magazine: 25 / 75
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

The second best weapon in the Valorant game is Vandal. The main advantage is Vandal’s consistent damage; one shot kills an enemy’s head. Vandals also have a very effective burst fire rate. It’s also the most favourite gun to use for most of the players.

Phantom

  • Type: Assault Rifle
  • Creds: 2,900
  • Magazine: 30 / 90
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

Phantom is best to use when you jiggle peeking corners due to first bullet accuracy. Phantom also has a higher fire rate (11 rounds/sec, 660 RPM) and a slightly bigger magazine than Vandal. If you are a newbie, this is the best weapon to use with the fundamentals of a tactical shooter.

Classic

  • Type: Sidearm
  • Creds: Free
  • Magazine: 12
  • Wall Penetration: Low

Classic is the basic weapon in Valorant, which can be used to save the creds and later invest into the best weapons or utility. Jump and classic right clicks are still deadly. A classic right-click burst saves you if you run out of ammo in main weapons and enemies pushing you. Nevertheless, it’s totally free, so no complaints about free things, right?

Judge

  • Type: Shotgun
  • Creds:1,850
  • Magazine: 7
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

It’s the most expensive gunshot in the game and effective in many conditions, especially when you are a defender. When you hold the corner or close quarter like Hookah on Bind or Garage on Haven, then the judge is a very strong weapon. Also favourite weapon for Raze and Jett, both an attacker and defenders. Raze can use the Judge better than anyone with the combined double satchel.

Marshall

  • Type: Sniper Rifle
  • Creds: 950
  • Magazine: 5
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

The Marshall is a sasti (cheaper) Operator in the game, but it can do the job, especially in eco rounds. Marshall can kill people on body hits but without armour. Marshall also has fast movement speed and scoping animations. It also meta weapons on Breeze map in the eco round.

Odin

  • Type: Heavy
  • Creds: 3,200
  • Magazine: 100
  • Wall Penetration: High

Odin is the best weapon for higher wall penetration with a large-scale magazine that can kill multiple enemies at once. Odin can be used to spam the bullet on common areas to get kills. It also most hated guns when enemies use it and spam to get the kills.

Sheriff

  • Type: Sidearm
  • Creds: ¤ 800
  • Magazine: 6
  • Wall Penetration: High

It’s one of the best pistols to get one hit kill on the head. It also most damage weapons in sidearms type. Its wall penetration also helps you to get kills that you cannot get with other pistols. From a 30m distance, it’s the only weapon that will bring enemies’ hp to 5.

Spectre

  • Type: SMG
  • Creds:1,600
  • Magazine: 30
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

A spectre is still a good option when you have half-buy rounds and the best smg in the game. It is cheaper, more accurate, less kicks considerably and has a higher magazine capacity. Ares is still mighty but has lots of recoils to control with low movement speed, but spectre has a higher fire rate and low recoil.

Ares

  • Type: Heavy
  • Creds:1,550
  • Magazine: 50
  • Wall Penetration: High

Ares is a heavy weapon and cheaper version of Odin but has many similar powers to Odin. The lower price means a lower magazine and firing rate. It is very effective at low distances,s but for long distances, it has recoil. It has advantages like a site back in the corner and aiming at enemies with spamming bullets.

Bulldog

  • Type: Assault Rifle
  • Creds: 2050
  • Magazine: 24
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

Bulldog is also an assault rifle like Vandal and Phantom but has many disadvantages like a slower fire rate (9.15 sec/rounds) with a smaller magazine and damage. It also switches to a three-round burst when you use ADS. It is one of the most difficult weapons to pick in any round.

Frenzy

  • Type: Sidearm
  • Creds: 450
  • Magazine: 13
  • Wall Penetration: Low

Frenzy has movement speed, but it is also difficult to pick on other pistols like Ghost and Sheriff. It requires 7-8 shots to the body and 3 shots to the head to kill. It’s a fully automatic gun but has a very small magazine size, making him less favourite in the sidearm category.

Ghost

  • Type: Sidearm
  • Creds:500
  • Magazine:15
  • Wall Penetration: Medium

Ghost is one of the pistols in Valorant and a good option to pick in starter rounds. It’s a semi-automatic pistol better than Frenzy, and one-shot head kills. It has silencers which help to increase overall accuracy and reduce firing noise.

Guardian

  • Type: DMR
  • Creds:2,250
  • Magazine: 12
  • Wall Penetration: High

The guardian is the only semi-automatic rifle in the game and gets you killed with one hit. But it is still currently not a meta in Valorant. You cannot pick him eco or half rounds because, in the next round, you cannot buy Vandal or Phantom. Also, it’s a different weapon than others, so not everyone likes it or tries to use it because of the shooting rhythm and limited magazine size.

Bucky

  • Type: Shotgun
  • Creds: ¤ 850
  • Magazine: 5
  • Wall Penetration: Low

Bucky is the cheapest primary weapon in the game with only 900 credits and can be bought in half-buy rounds, especially on the defender side. But it has disadvantages like small magazines and low damage, but it can do the job when you hide in a corner.

Knife

The knife is a free weapon which is given in every round. It helps you to move fast when holding a knife. The knife is also a showoff weapon with unique skin and animation. Or you can use it to break the sage wall.

Shorty

  • Type: Sidearm
  • Creds:150
  • Magazine: 2
  • Wall Penetration: Low

Shorty is the cheapest purchasable weapon in the game, with only 150 credits. It can be used in eco rounds due to its low price. But its range is terrible in all weapons and only effective at very close range. Also, it has only two bullets in a magazine, so it’s impossible to get multiple kills with it. However, it is fun to use with Raze and Jett agents.

Stinger

  • Type: SMG
  • Creds:950
  • Magazine: 20
  • Wall Penetration: Low

Stinger is my least favourite weapon with the smaller magazine, lower damage and low wall penetration. It doesn’t work over 20m distances with low accuracy. But still, it can be used over a shotgun due to better long-range and ease of adjusting the aim. You can buy a spectre over a stinger because of its high accuracy and damage. Also, you can say it’s a worse version of the spectre weapon.
